About Us
Komak Renewables - A Personal Journey
Our story is a very personal journey. Our founder Andrew, began a recruitment business named Komak Recruitment back in 2006. For 10 years he recruited across the energy marketplace in the Middle East and Australasia. In 2017, he walked away from the business after he and his wife had a stillborn daughter, Grace.

In 2021 he founded a new recruitment company using his expertise in the Energy sector to focus on the Renewable Energy sector.

Since the journey began in 2021, Komak Renewables has helped companies across the energy, renewables and sustainability landscape to source highly qualified technical sales, engineering, project and leadership professionals.

Hi I'm Andrew England, from Scotland, I am the founder and Director of Komak Renewables.

I am first and foremost an advocate for an end to Energy & Fuel Poverty. I believe that if there is something that we can do to help make lives better for people now and our children then we should do it!
​
I love working in recruitment but secretly I am a failed drummer and golfer. If I were good enough to be a professional at either there is a chance you would see me on stage at Wembley or playing at the Open Championship.

My amazing wife and I are very lucky to have two beautiful boys. If it were not for the work of the charity Tommy's I don't think we would have been so lucky. That is why Komak Recruitment is proud to support Tommy's with regular donations and fundraising activities.
